So I'm totally bumming that it's the end of the month and time to pay the mortgage again and I'm gonna be totally broke for the next two weeks.  So I check my bank account and the balance is way higher than expected.  Hrm.  I go to our payroll site and notice I just got an extra K for a patent I worked on that I'd totally forgotten about.

Of course, I'm probably going to spend the dough insulating my attic so I can stop having 250$ power bills, but that's not the point.  :-)
