So, I've made it to Barcelona and found my hotel.  It's 9:30 pm here.  For those of you in earlier timezones, you should know that people in the future speak Spanish really fast. But if you say "Hello" and look pitiful, they switch to British English, which is fun because it's understandable even if it's odd (get your boarding card and take the lift to the next level).

There was a Spanish guy on the plane next to me from London to Barcelona.  Periodically, he'd bust out and sing (quite well, incidentally) parts of an opera. 

By the way, British Airways is the only way to fly.  The food was good, the seats were relatively good, and they give you wine at every opportunity. :-)
