Apparently, the worst windstorm in at least a dozen years, and perhaps maybe many more than that.  1.5 million customers without power in the Seattle area-- parts of Seattle, all of Redmond (including my house) and most of the Eastside.  As far as I know, everyone's okay, although there are a ton of tree bits all over the place. I'm currently camping out in a Starbucks in Renton, wishing I'd splurged on the extra battery for my laptop.
