Thought for the day... 4/4/2005 3:58:00 PM
Until recently in human history, life was much less predictable and we were forced to encounter things not always of our own choosing. We are capable of more interesting and creative lives than our modern cultures often provide for us.

Eric Well, it might work?
EricLaw And it might not.
Eric M. Lawrence Please let me know how it works for you, 'k? <><><><>
EricLaw Alas, there's a bug in FireFox support. This only works in IE for the moment.
leila IE
leila it's working now :p
leila doesn't work in mozilla 1.7.3
Eric Yeah, I'm looking at that.
Eric This comment brought to you by FireFox 1.0.1
Leila (mozilla) I disagree... life is just as unpredictable and we still don't choose what we encounter in life. There were people in the past, as there are now, who didn't live 'creative & interesting lives.'
Eric Grrr... Well, I found (but haven't yet fixed) the timing bug in IE.
Eric Fixed it. Yay.
Mary Your thought of the day makes no sense what-so-freakin-ever! The article was funny though. I didn't have time to read all of it cause I'm at work but I liked what I saw. I once broke up with a guy when I realized that I was smarter than he was and I would win in arguments just because I could. Never mind actually believing what you’re saying. Over-rated. ;)
Eric "I once broke up with a guy when I realized that I was smarter than he was and I would win in arguments just because I could." Ouch. :-D
Eric to Leila Oh, yeah, I wrote a long comment yesterday mostly agreeing with you but then the feature broke so it got lost. So I fixed the feature instead of rewriting the comment. :-)
Mary Well... it's true. And it was either that comment or a substantial rant about how wrong I thought you were with your thought of the day. I decided to spare you. Be grateful ;)
