McAfee has a clever business model. It works kinda like this:

1> Invent a threat.

2> Scare the crap out of people with it.

3> Convince users that the only way to avoid the threat is to do whatever McAfee wants.

 

Wait a second... I think I've recently noticed another organization with this model.  I suppose McAfee doesn't get anyone killed though.
